Graham Denmon

Graham Denmon is an acoustic-electric violinist originally from Chicago, Illinois but raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graham started studying violin at the age of 5, Classically trained by his mother through the Suzuki method.

 

Graham Denmon is an acoustic-electric violinist originally from Chicago, Illinois but raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graham started studying violin at the age of 5, Classically trained by his mother through the Suzuki method.

Grahams’ first performance was with the Pittsburgh Symphony at the age of 10. Graham has conquered numerous competitions such as the tiny tot’s young artist competition, Klein awards, Pittsburgh concert society, and many more.

As Graham grew older, he decided to pursue other avenues in life, one being the United States army. Graham spent a lot of his time in the Army thinking about his passion for music. When Graham left the Army, he could not ignore that burning passion inside him so, Graham picked up where he left off with a twist. This time he incorporated his classical music background into jazz, gospel, hip hop, and RnB, Covering all genres of music, Which has led Graham where he is today.

Graham considers himself a freelance violinist, creating solo masterpieces of art and playing with different musicians and ensembles.

Graham has Opened up for musicians such as Tim Reynolds from Dave Matthew’s Band, Boyd Tinsley from Dave Matthew’s band, Jerald Dameyon, Detroit jazz violinist, and Rodney Mcoy, Pittsburgh jazz violinist. Graham has performed at venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe Pitt student union, Jamestreet Cafe, Cafe Notte, Grace memorial church, orchard hill church, Mt apart church. He has also performed at weddings, funerals, and other events.

Graham believes the violin is the instrument of love and romance, and he strives to bring his audience into the world that he is in when he performs. Graham encourages his fans and followers to embrace and share the feelings of his music spiritually, mentally, and physically.
